The LABORATORY OF PUBLIC HEALTH ENTOMOLOGY, organized a multidisciplinary International conference in January -2017. The highlights of the conference are followings
SAARC ECUBE-2017 conference was the first of its kind inter-state/inter-university COLLABORATIVE international conference on multidisciplinary theme amalgamating three Es of Sustainable Development Viz. Ecology, Equity & Economy, organized by Department of Zoology of MLSU, Udaipur (Rajasthan) on 9th to 11th January; 2017. The conference received stupendous response as evident from the online registrations of the participants. As many as 65 delegates from academia and about 200 students delegates participated in this conference and presented their research work in one or another area of Ecology, Equity or Economy. The conference witnessed the presence and active participation of as many as 40 resource persons occupying top positions in academic and research institutions from all over India apart from resource persons from Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal, the SAARC nations. The theme of the conference is well received and ratified by the financial instructions which funded this conference. The funding institutions include (a) ONGC (b)NABARD (c) ICMR (d) Jain Chemicals, Udaipur. To Sum up the conference was grand success.
